Our other major commitment has been to our staff and we have been able to blend the unique talents, training and experiences of several individuals. We have on staff a Development and Communications Consultant with over 30 years experience with the United Nations in the Caribbean and the rest of the world.. He also possesses special skills in the areas of regional and Caribbean development issues, disaster management, reconstruction and the current challenges of Caribbean economies in recent years. As a founder of the Caribbean Broadcasting Union he continues to be very involved with Caribbean Development issues and most recently was CARICOM’s coordinator for its Haiti programme. He is charged with supervising the research and information design requirements of various programmes.
Our Creative Director/Producer brings to the team extensive experience in Drama, the Theatre and the Arts – both locally, regionally and internationally and excellent writing skills very necessary to the industry. He has been an advantage to the Videomega Team working on several docudramas we have produced where the training and development of good talent is necessary. Most recently Russell served as Artistic Director for the recently concluded Carifesta X activities in Guyana.
Videomega Productions also has on its staff a full time senior cameraman who has covered several CARICOM Heads of Government conferences for Guyana internationally and several on location shoots in the Caribbean, most recently for one of our regional clients – Demerara Mutual an Insurance company with offices in three Caribbean countries. He brings creative camera techniques to the shooting of several dramatic production, commercials and documentaries.
Our office is complete with the services of a Media Account Executive/Office Manager who efficiently coordinates operations of the office and the timely delivery of projects. She prepares all advertising schedules, books media placements and follows up on transmission. With over six years experience in the Media placement arena she has developed excellent relations with the various media, private and public sector companies which is an asset to our Company. Our close working relationship and the support we garnish from the media has resulted in a partnership which has enhanced the community advocacy component of many of our campaigns. She also supervises our part time graphic artist who works closely with our Producers in the design of our print materials and ensures regular communications with clients and the on time delivery of our products.
Over the years we have developed an excellent working relationship with our graphic artist who has produced a range of products to support our campaigns. This has included the design, layout and production of newspaper supplements, inserts and press advertisements, corporate marketing material including brochures, booklets and company profiles, posters and signage.
Given all of the about we feel we have “in-house” ALL the equipment, personnel, skills and experience required to get the job done to the highest production standards in the timeframe required.
